Ambassador Vahram Kazhoyan's Meeting with Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee

Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam had a meeting with Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, on June 28, 2023.

The sides discussed further development and deepening of the cooperation in the spheres representing mutual interest, sister-city relations between cities and provinces, the expansion of the legal field, and issues regarding the possible establishment of direct air traffic.

Ambassador Kazhoyan highlighted the development and deepening of cooperation between the cities and provinces of two countries, noting that the Embassy has already provided the draft of Memorandum of Understanding on sister-city cooperation between Gyumri and Ho Chi Minh cities and the Embassy is expecting the response of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee underlined that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on sister-city cooperation between Gyumri and Ho Chi Minh cities will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation, largely contributing to the organization of frequent visits of the delegations of two cities.

Aramazd Muradyan, Second Secretary of the Embassy and Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Assistant to the Ambassador, and from Vietnamese side Mr. Pham Dut Diem, Deputy Director General of the Department of External Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, other officials and experts participated in the meeting.
